Offshore, waves of 0,12 m are forecast; 0,09 m reach the shore: 25% less, because offshore, waves arriving from different directions add up, and only the one facing the beach gets in.
On 30 September Chiummano has a calm sea, 0,09 m wave at the shore.
Chiummano faces south-southeast. The Mistral wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Sirocco wind raises it.
