Offshore, waves of 0,56 m are forecast; 0,29 m reach the shore: 48% less, because the wave arrives at an angle, not head on.
The Gregale wind at 12 km/h runs along the shore: it does not raise the wave. Today's wave is mixed: part raised by the local wind, part arriving from far away. Even when the wind eases it does not disappear entirely.

Punta Testa del Rosso faces north-northwest. The Ostro wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Tramontana wind raises it.
