Offshore, waves of 0,48 m are forecast; 0,26 m reach the shore: 46% less, because offshore, waves arriving from different directions add up, and only the one facing the beach gets in.
The wind blows from the Gregale at 16 km/h: it comes off the sea and pushes the wave ashore. The wave is raised by the wind: it comes in short, one close after another, and drops as soon as the wind eases.
Today Farina has a sea with a few waves, 0,26 m wave at the shore. Water at 29°.
Farina faces east-northeast. The Libeccio wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Gregale wind raises it.
