The Sirocco wind at 14 km/h runs along the shore: it does not raise the wave. Today's wave is mixed: part raised by the local wind, part arriving from far away. Even when the wind eases it does not disappear entirely.

Foxi Manna faces east. The Ponente wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Levanter wind raises it.
