Offshore, waves of 0,92 m are forecast; 0,23 m reach the shore: 75% less, because the wave arrives at an angle, not head on.
The wind blows from the Gregale at 21 km/h: it comes off the sea and pushes the wave ashore. Today's wave is mixed: part raised by the local wind, part arriving from far away. Even when the wind eases it does not disappear entirely.
Today Grotta della Poesia has a sea with a few waves, 0,23 m wave at the shore. Water at 25°.
Grotta della Poesia faces east-northeast. The Libeccio wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Gregale wind raises it.
