Offshore, waves of 0,20 m are forecast; 0,05 m reach the shore: 75% less, because offshore, waves arriving from different directions add up, and only the one facing the beach gets in.
Wind from the Tramontana at 16 km/h. The wave is raised by the wind: it comes in short, one close after another, and drops as soon as the wind eases.
Today Montecorice has a flat sea, 0,05 m wave at the shore. Water at 25°.
Montecorice faces southwest. The Gregale wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Libeccio wind raises it.
