Offshore, waves of 0,30 m are forecast; 0,10 m reach the shore: 67% less, because the wave arrives at an angle, not head on.
The wind blows from the Tramontana at 14 km/h: it comes off the sea and pushes the wave ashore. The wave is raised by the wind: it comes in short, one close after another, and drops as soon as the wind eases.
Today Posticeddu has a calm sea, 0,10 m wave at the shore. Water at 29°.
Posticeddu faces north-northeast. The Ostro wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Tramontana wind raises it.
