Offshore, waves of 0,40 m are forecast; 0,32 m reach the shore: 20% less, because offshore, waves arriving from different directions add up, and only the one facing the beach gets in.
The Tramontana wind at 12 km/h runs along the shore: it does not raise the wave. Today's wave is mixed: part raised by the local wind, part arriving from far away. Even when the wind eases it does not disappear entirely.
Today Rio Forgia has a sea with a few waves, 0,32 m wave at the shore. Water at 30°.
Rio Forgia faces northwest. The Sirocco wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Mistral wind raises it.
