Offshore, waves of 0,64 m are forecast; 0,54 m reach the shore: 16% less, because offshore, waves arriving from different directions add up, and only the one facing the beach gets in.
The Ostro wind at 14 km/h runs along the shore: it does not raise the wave. Today's wave is mixed: part raised by the local wind, part arriving from far away. Even when the wind eases it does not disappear entirely.
Today Santa Giulia has a slightly choppy sea, 0,54 m wave at the shore. Water at 28°.
Santa Giulia faces southwest. The Gregale wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Libeccio wind raises it.
