Offshore, waves of 0,60 m are forecast; 0,42 m reach the shore: 30% less, because offshore, waves arriving from different directions add up, and only the one facing the beach gets in.
The wind blows from the Gregale at 24 km/h: it comes off the sea and pushes the wave ashore. The wave is raised by the wind: it comes in short, one close after another, and drops as soon as the wind eases.
Today Campanile di Sant'Antonio has a slightly choppy sea, 0,42 m wave at the shore. Water at 27°.
Campanile di Sant'Antonio faces east-southeast. The Ponente wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Levanter wind raises it.
