Offshore, waves of 0,32 m are forecast; 0,21 m reach the shore: 34% less, because offshore, waves arriving from different directions add up, and only the one facing the beach gets in.
The wind blows from the Tramontana at 12 km/h: it comes off the sea and pushes the wave ashore. The wave is raised by the wind: it comes in short, one close after another, and drops as soon as the wind eases.

Case bianche faces north. The Ostro wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Tramontana wind raises it.
