Offshore, waves of 0,40 m are forecast; 0,27 m reach the shore: 32% less, because offshore, waves arriving from different directions add up, and only the one facing the beach gets in.
The wind blows from the Tramontana at 14 km/h: it comes off the sea and pushes the wave ashore. The wave is raised by the wind: it comes in short, one close after another, and drops as soon as the wind eases.

Cervara faces north-northeast. The Ostro wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Tramontana wind raises it.
