Offshore, waves of 0,20 m are forecast; 0,04 m reach the shore: 80% less, because the wave arrives at an angle, not head on.
The coast also screens that sector, so the little that gets in is already damped.
On 3 September Foce Chianette has a flat sea, 0,04 m wave at the shore.
Foce Chianette faces southwest. The Gregale wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Libeccio wind raises it.
