Offshore, waves of 0,32 m are forecast; 0,04 m reach the shore: 88% less, because the wave arrives at an angle, not head on.
The coast also screens that sector, so the little that gets in is already damped.
On 3 September Portonuovo has a flat sea, 0,04 m wave at the shore.
Portonuovo faces east-northeast. The Libeccio wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Gregale wind raises it.
