Offshore, waves of 0,56 m are forecast; 0,28 m reach the shore: 50% less, because the wave arrives at an angle, not head on.
The wind blows from the Gregale at 18 km/h: it comes off the sea and pushes the wave ashore. Today's wave is mixed: part raised by the local wind, part arriving from far away. Even when the wind eases it does not disappear entirely.
Today Punta d'Isola has a sea with a few waves, 0,28 m wave at the shore. Water at 30°.
Punta d'Isola faces east. The Ponente wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Levanter wind raises it.
