Offshore, waves of 0,54 m are forecast; 0,28 m reach the shore: 48% less, because the wave arrives at an angle, not head on.
The wind blows from the Ponente at 13 km/h: it comes off the sea and pushes the wave ashore. Today's wave is mixed: part raised by the local wind, part arriving from far away. Even when the wind eases it does not disappear entirely.
Today Punta Niedda has a sea with a few waves, 0,28 m wave at the shore. Water at 29°.
Punta Niedda faces west-southwest. The Levanter wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Ponente wind raises it.
