Offshore, waves of 0,38 m are forecast; 0,05 m reach the shore: 87% less, because the wave arrives at an angle, not head on.
The coast also screens that sector, so the little that gets in is already damped. The wind blows from the Ostro at 13 km/h: it comes off the land and keeps the wave down. Today's wave is mixed: part raised by the local wind, part arriving from far away. Even when the wind eases it does not disappear entirely.
Today Punta Rosarieddu has a flat sea, 0,05 m wave at the shore. Water at 28°.
Punta Rosarieddu faces north-northeast. The Ostro wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Tramontana wind raises it.
