Offshore, waves of 0,18 m are forecast; 0,03 m reach the shore: 83% less, because the wave arrives at an angle, not head on.
The coast also screens that sector, so the little that gets in is already damped.
On 4 September Punta Santa Teresa has a flat sea, 0,03 m wave at the shore.
Punta Santa Teresa faces south. The Tramontana wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Ostro wind raises it.
