Offshore, waves of 0,20 m are forecast; 0,03 m reach the shore: 85% less, because the wave is not heading for this beach, it runs past it.
The wind blows from the Levanter at 11 km/h: it comes off the sea and pushes the wave ashore. Today's wave is mixed: part raised by the local wind, part arriving from far away. Even when the wind eases it does not disappear entirely.
Today Punta Stilo has a flat sea, 0,03 m wave at the shore. Water at 30°.
Punta Stilo faces east. The Ponente wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Levanter wind raises it.
