The coast also screens that sector, so the little that gets in is already damped. The wind blows from the Gregale at 20 km/h: it comes off the land and keeps the wave down. Today's wave is mixed: part raised by the local wind, part arriving from far away. Even when the wind eases it does not disappear entirely.
