Offshore, waves of 0,48 m are forecast; 0,42 m reach the shore: 12% less, because offshore, waves arriving from different directions add up, and only the one facing the beach gets in.
On 1 September Spiaggia di Ponente has a slightly choppy sea, 0,42 m wave at the shore.
Spiaggia di Ponente faces west-northwest. The Levanter wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Ponente wind raises it.
