Offshore, waves of 0,20 m are forecast; 0,10 m reach the shore: 50% less, because offshore, waves arriving from different directions add up, and only the one facing the beach gets in.
The wind blows from the Mistral at 16 km/h: it comes off the sea and pushes the wave ashore. The wave is raised by the wind: it comes in short, one close after another, and drops as soon as the wind eases.
Today Spiaggia Testene has a calm sea, 0,10 m wave at the shore. Water at 24°.
Spiaggia Testene faces west-northwest. The Levanter wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Ponente wind raises it.
