The Levanter wind at 11 km/h runs along the shore: it does not raise the wave. Today's wave is mixed: part raised by the local wind, part arriving from far away. Even when the wind eases it does not disappear entirely.

Villagonia faces southeast. The Mistral wind comes off the land and keeps the wave down, the Sirocco wind raises it.
